Day 12 QT- Night lights

Let’s move this back out onto the balcony, and I’ll take you through what seems to be a rare quiet night. I’ll enjoy a Friday night drink and the cool breeze, you can just imagine the sea breeze hitting your face.

As I said, tonight, it’s peaceful and calm out there, no dancing aunties or terrible karaoke singers dragging their microphone and boom box onto the beach. Hooray.

Each night between precisely at 6 pm-10 pm the Xiamen city skyline lights up with images on the buildings. I get the feeling they are advertising an event, I want to guess it’s the “30th Chinese movie festival” from the words projected on the facades but my confidence in my Chinese language skills is lacking.

It’s rather beautiful and definitely a nice quarantine bonus to enjoy, especially on weekends when the seniors must be at home with their loved ones rather than singing and dancing all over the shop.
